Have you ever heard of the app Chatterpix? Maybe you have, but you aren't quite sure how great in can be in your classroom! Not a 1:1 classroom? No problem! Neither am I!! Chatterpix provides a (FREE!) quick & easy way to informally assess your student's learning that is fun for them! Tomorrow is the 100th day of school! Even though I teach 3rd grade I wanted to do something fun, quick, and easy to celebrate with my class! First I downloaded this app, Aging Booth onto all of our devices! It is free! If you only have a few devices, or just your phone, don't worry! You can still do this! Have you heard of the app Epic? Oh my GOODNESS! It is by far now one of my favorite apps for the classroom! Not only is it free (hey hey!!), my students LOVE it. I mean L-O-V-E! What it is is a major hub for a TON of free books your students can read and listen to. A lot of them can be read out loud. Some of them are just for them to read.
