Winter Sports Project – Using videos and articles provided, students will learn about 15 winter sports that are popular throughout the world. Extension activities are provided such as comparing two sports and completing a writing activity.
Animal Research Project– Students can choose from 25 different animals to research. Using the videos and articles linked and provided they will research the appearance, habitat, diet, adaptations, and life cycle.
Weather and Climate Research Project– This is a perfect activity to end your weather unit! Students will review tools used in measuring weather, weather vocabulary, precipitation, and climate. They will get an opportunity to research the weather and climate of a destination they would like to vacation at. How fun!
Growth Mindset Digital Project– Students will research, learn, reflect, and complete activities all focused on growth mindset! They will learn about the “power of yet” and have an opportunity to reflect on dreams and goals they have.
Famous Hero Research Project– Using the videos and articles provided, students can learn about 22 different heroes/important people. This project is digital and interactive!
Environment Research Project– This is a perfect activity to review all things environment. Students will review important vocabulary terms such as species, organism, environment, habitat, etc. They will also have the opportunity to research different environments including the ocean, desert, tundra, and forest.
September 11th Research Project– This age appropriate research project on 9-11 allows teachers and students to gain information about the historic event but also focus on the positives that came out of a tragedy.
Natural Disasters Research Project– Using the videos and articles provided, students can learn about 17 different natural disasters. Premade questions and writing prompts are available for all 17 disasters. This project is digital and interactive!
